ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Sarah is an experienced education wellbeing practitioner and educator with many years of supporting young people to thrive within their communities, across both grammar and mainstream school settings. Her creative approach to wellbeing is uniquely informed by her background in design and her Master’s-level training in mental health. She founded Affirmed Mind Hub to bridge the gap between learning and creativity, cultivating confident, resilient, and imaginative learners. Through this work, Sarah aims to make academic experiences more enjoyable, empowering, and deeply engaging.
Sarah Utsaghan holds a BA in Surface Design and an MSc in Neuroscience and the Psychology of Mental Health. She is a Certified Mental Health First Aider and Advocate with counselling skills, as well as a qualified educator and trainer for higher learners. With extensive experience as a certified life coach, Sarah has supported individuals both with and without mental health needs. She brings a strong combination of skills, knowledge, and lived professional experience to support individuals and communities in mental health awareness, empowerment, and wellbeing.
